My Ally takes to the first of two major HR conferences in Summer 2019 with the debut of its new platform at UNLEASH America 2019.

May and June are always busy months at My Ally, but this year especially so. Not only are we in the midst of rapid technical and product development, but we’ve also been busy preparing for two of the year’s biggest HR and talent conferences.

The first of these was UNLEASH America 2019, hosted in Las Vegas from May 12-13 with solution providers, startups, influencers, analysts and delegates discussing cutting-edge technology, trends and best practices in HR and human capital management.

Today we’re going to share our experiences from UNLEASH America!

Engaging with industry leaders and experts

One of the best things about industry gatherings like UNLEASH is the opportunity to meet and learn from analysts, experts and influencers with a wealth of experience. With 78% of attendees coming from senior leadership roles and 54% of them HR tech buyers, UNLEASH America truly was a hub of information exchange and learning.

Our delegation met with two of the best minds in the HR space: Gerry Crispin and Stacia Sherman Garr.

Gerry is a former HR director who runs CareerXroads, a P2P organization where talent leaders meet by invitation to discuss and innovate hiring practices. Stacia is a co-founder and Principal Analyst at Red Thread Research, which specializes in human capital research and advisory. Both have extensive teaching experience with Cornell University and UC Berkeley, respectively.

Being able to discuss the future of HR with people who have seen wave after wave of cultural and technological change was a golden opportunity that will influence how we continue to help organizations discover, acquire and retain impactful talent.

Deepti speaks

Another big win to celebrate for us at UNLEASH was our CEO Deepti Yenireddy‘s inclusion on a panel discussion titled “Data Scientists vs. Practitioners: The Great Debate”. She discussed the future of hybrid workforces, algorithmic decision-making in HR, and trusting in AI.

Deepti’s co-panelists included Kevin Blair, IBM’s VP of Global Talent Acquisition; Chris Long, Sydney Metro’s Head of Workforce Strategy; and Steven Huang, Head of D&I at Culture Amp. We loved hearing her speak as both My Ally’s champion and as the panel’s sole representative for women leaders in HR and HR tech.

New platform gets warm reception

A huge moment for My Ally this year was the beta debut of our new AI-powered solution that unifies disjointed HR systems into one seamless platform. We were overwhelmed by how positively the HR and Talent Acquisition communities embraced our vision for scalable, fully customizable talent discovery, acquisition and retention.

My Ally VP of Sales Carter Perez and his team were kept busy across both days of UNLEASH demoing our new platform to HR tech buyers, discussing the finer points of human capital and talent lifecycle management with senior leaders, and expanding My Ally’s footprint across the HR tech space.

More to come from My Ally

We’ll be back in Las Vegas next month for SHRM’s flagship annual conference and exposition.

In the meantime keep watching this space for more product updates, interviews with My Ally leadership and industry experts, and articles on HR and human capital management.
